Situated on the quayside, this tradtional bar and restaurant enjoys lovely views over the Torridge estuary. Sit outside on summer days and dine al fresco, or snuggle up in front of the cosy open fires in winter. Dogs are welcome.

A traditional part thatched pub set in eight acres of landscaped grounds. You'll find cozy inglenooks and a blazing fire in winter and out door seating for al fresco dining in summer. The menu is created using local, seasonal produce.

A great beach for children with acres of sand at low tide, shallow waters and usually calm seas. There are plenty of facilities nearby in the village. Dog restrictions apply so please check locally.

There has been a ferry here for many centuries, always providing a well used service. The ferry that runs today is community run and offers the chance to nip across theTaw and Torridge Estuary and explore both sides!

A lovely little seaside village with quintessential narrow streets, houses in pastel hues and a Quay to sit and eat your local fish and chips on. Tea shops and bistros, small boutiques and fishermen's fare - take delight in everything Devonshire as you breathe in the clean, fresh sea air. There's even the Appledore Book Festival thanks to the association with A. A. Milne.
