Sunday lunch

The restaurant is a great addition to the pub and serves good quality food at reasonable prices. The Sunday lunch was excellent but you do need to book. The cask beers in the pub were great..a reasonable choice and well kept.

One for the locals

On the day we visited this pub it was a sunny day so wanted to have our drinks outside. There was a kind of courtyard with no tables or chairs. We stood against an old barbecue and perched our drinks on the wall. Also in the courtyard were a group of late middle aged men who decided to play a impromptu game sliding beer trays across the floor. They were loud and used offensive language. We felt very uncomfortable and so finished our drinks quickly and left
