This 18th century former coaching house is well situated between the Quantocks and Exmoor National Park. If you are out and about for day pop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Country chic dining on the southern fringes of Exmoor, with locally-sourced meats and cheeses, including Exmoor venison pie. There's a proper bar too, with darts and pool room.
Set at the foot of the rolling Quantock hills, this farm shop offers a great variety of locally reared meats, farm grown vegetables, home made cakes, Somerset butter, cheese and yoghurt.
Award winning beers are brewed using traditional craft brewing techniques and sold here. Copper Knob cider is also available and introductory evenings are listed on their website.
This local market has lots of craft producers providing a great selection of treats to purchase, together with the traditional local produce.
Visit here for a unique dining experience in either the beautifully designed barn conversion or the Mediterranean court yard. This former cattle shed is sure to delight.
Set in the heart of the countryside but only a stones throw from Taunton, this pub has been converted from an old traditional farmhouse and retains may original features including stone walls and exposed beams. The menu has been created using as much local produce as possible and meals can be taken in the light and airy restaurant overlooking the garden or outside in the lovely beer garden during the summer.
A family run establishment with flagstone floors and timber beams. Food is served daily but reservations are required. Call in for a meal or a pint, the fire is very welcoming in winter.
