A sandy beach on the south side of Treyarnon Bay suitable for surfing and body boarding. There's a car park and shop in summer with other facilities at nearby St. Merryn.

Big Guns Cove

Part of a complex of beaches collectively known as Harlyn Beach. Access is tricky and involves a walk along the coastal path and a scramble down a very narrow and steep path. Good snorkelling. Parking is available and a kiosk cafe at Harlyn Beach.

Bloodhound Cove

Part of a complex of beaches which make up Harlyn Bay, this cove is accessed via the coastal path and is only a 500m walk from the car park. It's more sheltered and quieter than the main beach with a small strip of sand at high tide.

Booby's Bay Beach

Park at either Treyarnon Bay or Constantine Bay, walk along the coastal path and climb down to the beach over rocks. A wide sandy beach awaits you with lots of rock pools and good surfing.

Brea Beach

A car park above the beach gives direct access or alternatively for the more energetic, you can walk along the footpath above Rock Beach. Swimming can be dangerous due to very strong currents and steeply shelving sand. Dogs are welcome and facilities are available at the adjoining Rock Beach.

A rocky beach with coarse sand above half tide. Good for rock pools but take care if swimming as there are submerged rocks and currents at low water.

A small rocky inlet with a small patch of sand at low water. Located just beyond Treyarnon Point, access is via the coastal path towards Constantine Bay. Dogs are allowed.

Cockett Haven

A small cove below New Polzeath. There's a large sandy area which is busy during the summer months and it's good for surfing but only recommended for swimming when lifeguards are on duty (April to September). Dogs are not allowed from Easter day until the end of September.

Two lovely secluded sandy coves (no beach at high tide) but access is dangerous due to recent cliff falls and a scramble down rocks. Swimming is not recommended due to strong currents but there are good rock pools on the southerly side.

Dennis Cove

This little cove is situated just off the Camel Cycle Trail, so a great place to stop with a picnic en-route to Padstow. There's a mix of sand and shingle and because of the strong currents in the estuary, it's not advisable to swim here.
