Use the car park at Millendreath and walk in an easterly direction, the beach is below the cliffs. Watch out for the tide as a rock scramble may be necessary. There are areas of sand with some shingle. Good for swimming and snorkelling but no facilities.
This east facing sandy beach can be reached by the coast path or across the rocks from Talland Sand. The cliffs that back this beach have been affected by erosion and are subject to cliff falls.
This very popular beach offers a large stretch of sand. There are two slipway access points, making this great for pushchairs and wheelchair users.
There are a series of beaches stretching from the town and over looking Polruan. They are quite sheltered beaches and rarely get inundated - they are great for dog walkers as there are no restrictions in place.
From the cafe on the westerly side of Seaton beach, head west. Access can be tricky so watch out for the tides. Dogs are allowed here year round with facilities available at Seaton.
There is a fabulous view across the bay en-route to this little cove. There is steep climb down to the cove and for that reason it is not advisable for the less-abled. This is a fairly remote beach and there can be strong currents out in the Bay.
If you're willing to brave the deep descent down to this cove - it will be well worth it! It is backed by wonderful green cliffs and is very sheltered with a mix of sand and shingle.
This south facing cove has areas of sand and shingle. It is not an easy walk to this cove, but it is worth the effort! The water quality is believed to be very good.
This little cove is owned by the National Trust, it can be accessed via the coastal path - although access is quite narrow and steep and there is little or no beach at high tide. This is a sheltered little cove with rocky outcrops reaching out to sea.
