In the heart of the pretty village of Tipton St John, this pub offers a warm log fire in winter and plenty of outside seating in summer in the beer garden. The menu blends classic British with rustic French, courtesy of the French owners.

The small town of Ottery St Mary is home to one of the biggest farmers' markets in the area. There's a wide range of local produce and several local craft stalls. The market is held in Hind Street car park, so parking is not a problem. Held on the first Friday of the month, 9am-1pm.
