Wonwell Sands Beach

On the east bank of the river Erme, this beach joins up with the beach next door, Mothecombe, at low tide. A sandy beach, there are lovely views over the estuary and dogs are welcome year round.

Cellar Beach

A good little beach for walkers - you might as well plan a coast path jaunt as parking is in Noss Mayo, and access is via a half hour or more walk along the river. But it is a pretty woodland walk. The beach itself has steep access when you get there and is a mixture of pebbles and sand. Once rested, you carry on your merry way further round the coast.

Bovisand Beach

Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this beach has golden yellow sands and is a popular spot with locals. Flanked by rocky cliffs at each side, there is ample car parking or you can gain access from the coastal path. Dogs are allowed off season but not from May to September.

Large, sheltered and unspoilt, this beach has lots of fine sand at low tide and safe areas to bathe in shallow waters. Mothecombe Beach is situated at the mouth of the River Erme and has plenty of rocks to explore and climb. Parking is a 15 minute walk away.
