A long shingle mile long beach stretching from Branscombe to Beer Head. You can walk there along the coastal path or park in the nearby car park (charges apply). There are facilities nearby and a dog exercise area.

The Kingfisher is a traditional Devon pub situated in the heart of Colyton. There's outside seating for warmer months and a real fire to keep you warm in winter. Children are welcome and the pub is open for lunch and dinner.

With stunning views across Lyme Bay, this shingle beach stretches for about a mile. Take your swimmers, this is a good swimming beach and ideal for kayaking. If you'd rather not walk on the pebbles there's a flat esplanade which is much easier going.

From Trinity Hill Road the car park is on your left after about 1km. From there explore this beautiful reserve of lowland heath and views across the Axe Valley. See further details on the eastdevon.gov.uk website.
Situated on Beer seafront, this hotel offers food service seven days a week from 11am until 10pm and fresh fish daily specials. There's a beer garden for summer months with cliff-top views.
Start from the Colcombe Castle Pub in the centre of Colyton and follow this five mile walk around the valleys and rolling hills. Check the devon.gov.uk website for further details and other local walks.
