Hambledon Hill fort

Labelled as being the best of its kind, so if you like historic landscapes and walking, this one is for you. It has amazing views all around of the Blackmore Vale and Cranborne Chase. Neolithic long barrows, ramparts other fine examples of earthworks - a great place for a picnic, there are even cows to entertain the children. Natural England also hold events here periodically.
