A long shingle mile long beach stretching from Branscombe to Beer Head. You can walk there along the coastal path or park in the nearby car park (charges apply). There are facilities nearby and a dog exercise area.

Situated in the heart of the village, this traditional pub offers home cooked food on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. There's a courtyard beer garden for warmer months and a warming log fire in the main bar.

The Kingfisher is a traditional Devon pub situated in the heart of Colyton. There's outside seating for warmer months and a real fire to keep you warm in winter. Children are welcome and the pub is open for lunch and dinner.

With stunning views across Lyme Bay, this shingle beach stretches for about a mile. Take your swimmers, this is a good swimming beach and ideal for kayaking. If you'd rather not walk on the pebbles there's a flat esplanade which is much easier going.

A typical English village pub with black beams and brass ornaments on the wall. It serves locally brewed ales and reasonably priced food, including a good ol' roast on a Sunday. The front courtyard features a boules piste and Axe Valley views, and the beer garden out back is enclosed to keep the dogs and children contained.

Classic old-fashioned seaside charm. Little wooden changing huts line up on the beach in front of the striking white chalk cliffs. The town has been a fishing port since the 15th Century and many of the buildings are listed.

A shingle beach surrounded by high chalk cliffs on the south Devon coast. It's nice and sheltered with a cafe and toilets and there's even long rubber mats provided to help walking on the pebbles. A section of the beach allows dogs all year round.

A challenging five mile walk taking in coastal path, woodland and even over an airstrip. Some of the path is very steep, however its well worth the effort for the stunning views and beautiful countryside. Visit the Old Bakery in Branscombe on your return for a well-deserved snack!
Situated on Beer seafront, this hotel offers food service seven days a week from 11am until 10pm and fresh fish daily specials. There's a beer garden for summer months with cliff-top views.
