An excellent museum with many exhibitions charting the history of aviation.
Set in extensive grounds with views overlooking Limpley Stoke Valley and the River Avon, you'll find plenty to keep you occupied here whether you stroll around the gardens or step inside and marvel at the decorative folk art inside. You'll also find a cafe, terrace and shop.
Classics and modern day super cars - over 340 to drool over.
Run by the Bath Preservation Trust, this museum gives an insight into life around the 1700's with rooms decorated and furnished from the time. Baby buggies cannot be taken around the house but baby carriers are available.
Indulge your love of local industry at this quirky little museum sited in a Scheduled Ancient Monument, a former brick and tile kiln that produced the building wares that characterise Somerset towns.
Since the museum re-opened following major refurbishment at the end of September 2011, it hosts a series of displays, complimenting the stories told in the main Museum of Somerset. Uniform, medal and regimental displays, as well as tributes to those who lost their lives serving our country, are all located within the appropriate site of Taunton Castle.
A facinating place to visit with fourteenth century Abbey Barn plus farm buildings and courtyard. There are displays and tools used in local activities including peat digging, cider making and the ever popular mud horse fishing! A tea room and museum shop are also on site.

From starting out as a private haul of rotorcraft artifacts in1958 the collection has grown into a grand display of helicopters from all over the world. Air experience flights and open cockpit days can be pre-booked and special events take place throught the year.
Located next door to Sydney Gardens in the centre of Bath, this museum was the first public art gallery in the city and is now home to fine and decorative arts.
