Taking place in November each year, this festival celebrates substainable fishing by traditional methods, in particular the herring "Silver Darlings" of the sea. With cookery demonstrations, sea shanty singers, street entertainment and stalls, there is something for everyone here.
In support of the National Lobster Hatchery, and in tribute to Clovelly's famous crustaceans, a seafood feast and festivities is held in the harbour - folk music, food and the freeing of baby lobsters into the sea.
From Friday night until Sunday lunchtime spend the weekend enjoying folk music plus Morris dancers and Mummers. Bring your tent along to really join in.
