This private gallery offers visitors the opportunity to view the exciting exhibits of selected contemporary artists.
Art in every medium, from the traditional to the avant-garde.
A collection of workshops, set in an old milk factory next to Corfe Castle railway station, sees talented artists, potters and sculptors in action. You can wander around and meet the artists, in particular Frances Pollard, a founding member who works with ceramics, and Tony Viner, founder of the Purbeck Film Festival.
Why not teach yourself a new skill? Burngate Stone Carving Centre is located in beautiful surroundings and offers expert tuition for adults and children.
Located on the Isle of Portland, this gallery holds regular exhibitions for local artists. There's a cafe too where you can sit and enjoy a tasty treat with a stunning sea view.
Dedicated to providing and promoting contemporary art in the South West. SWA CIC makes use of historic venues and unusual spaces - a church, an old pumping station, a reclamation yard - to create eye-popping shows of contemporary art.
Much of the work on display at this gallery is by local artists and sculptors.
A vast array of entertainment is shown here, there really is something to suit everyone. Many art exhibitions can be viewed - offering the opportunity to see some fabulous locally produced pieces. Sited in the middle of the high street and refurbished in 2006 this centre now has disabled access.
