Poldark Mine

Follow in the footsteps of 18th Century Cornish tin miners - this is 'the only complete tin mine in Cornwall open for underground guided tours'. If you love Cornwall, it's nigh time you investigated the very ground it's built upon. It's an international destination of historical interest with a 'labyrinth of levels, caverns, adits, stopes, tunnels and shafts'. You should get your headlamp on and go investigate.

Plus it's the only farm park to have a steam railway right outside the door to make the journey as much fun as the day.
