A wide crescent of white sand, Sennen is great for sandcastles and surfing and joins up with neighbouring Gwenver at low tide. Easy access and parking make Sennen a popular choice with families. All amenities are close by, including toilets, beach shops, cafes and a pub, plus the Beach Restaurant which has great sea views.

Porthbeor Beach

Nestling undisturbed on the Roseland peninsula, Porthbeor is pleasantly sheltered and dotted with unusual rock formations. Currently only accessible by boat due to landslip cutting off the access steps.

Poldhu Cove

Sand dunes to play in and level access from the car park make this a good choice for families with young children. You will find a cafe and shop here plus toilets and lifeguards in summer. Its a very popular spot for surfers and can get busy during August.

Kynance Cove

Probably the most photographed beach in the area - the rugged, rocky coastline, caves and gleaming white sand make it one of Cornwall's prettiest, take note though, the beach is totally covered at high tide. National Trust car parking is available with access to the beach via a steep gravelled path. Cafe and toilets are available during the summer months.

Loe Beach

Situated near Feock and running south west to Restronguet Point, Loe Beach is popular for watersports all year round and oyster boat watching during winter months.

Perprean Cove

This is a mainly stone cove, just South of the village centre. It can be reached just off the coastal path and dogs are permitted on this beach all year. The water here is crystal clear.

Sandy, pebbly and spacious with rock pools to explore at low tide. Not to be confused with Towan Beach at Newquay. The National Trust beach car park is nearby with good access. Don't forget to visit Earl theThirstea Co refreshment van, open from Easter to October.
