For all you crazy folk out there walking the South West Coastal Path you will probably already know that Porthallow is exactly the half way point. This tiny fishing village is a great place to stop for a pint and a pasty. Re-opened in 2025, opening hours are limited to it's adviseable to give them a ring to check.

Great food

Great fish and chip takeaway form the pub. Enjoyed listening to the Cornish male singers that visited during our week. A bustling community pub.

Great local pub with good food.

This was our local when staying at Roskorwell Manor, as only a 15 minute walk down the lane. Landlord was very welcoming and lovely character interior. Our first visit on a Sunday lunchtime found the pub busy but other lunchtimes it was very quiet (it was February and weather foul!). We had good honest pub grub and Italian chef came out to check everything was okay, which was a nice touch. They are very dog friendly and we enjoyed meeting a regular visitor called Whisky! If you are staying locally or walking the coast path I would make sure to stop off here.
