Crown Inn

Great pub with lovely garden and serving fabulous food - we had the best Sunday lunch ever there - everything homemade and delicious. Not cheap but considering the quality it was good value.

Fabulous pub!

Fabulous dog friendly country pub with large garden and plenty of seating inside and out. Very helpful landlord who runs a tight ship with his efficient, friendly team. Food and beer excellent and very generous servings.

A Break Away

Lovely location and friendly staff.
Food a little disappointing. Both dishes burnt and dry. But for a drink or two it was welcoming.

Local away from home

Lovely pub not too far away. Honestly felt like a local away from home and even though in a small village - seemed very welcoming to tourists.

We had food which was nice - although we did hear a few complaints about wait times the second time we went.

Ok but pricey

Food was ok, not the best we had but very pricey and was the most expensive meal out we had all week for 2 adults. Overheard some locals saying it had changed hands recently and was not as good.

Good food

Lovely pub with a good selection of food and drink. The fish and chips was excellent! Lovely staff, they have been handling the new COVID-19 rules very well, we felt really comfortable.

Excellent local pub

As per the title - we tried The Crown on the recommendation of our host and were not disappointed. Proper local atmosphere in a pub with a long history - food was excellent, quality and value well-matched; local ales to accompany. Definitely one not to miss.

Very welcoming to the 2 of us and our small dog, especially as we hadn`t booked.
Food was beautifully presented, very good but slightly overpriced, we thought.

Peaceful

Off the beaten track, we ate in the garden, Has some interesting looking holiday chalets. Only had a snack lunch which was very good.

A great traditional pub.

A great traditional pub with a good old fashioned atmosphere. The friendly staff made my husband, myself and our little dog very welcome. We had a lovely meal - I recommend the fish pie and my husband said his roast beef was delicious! The portions are very generous making it good value for money too.
