Fascinating heritage site with stunning views

Well worth the visit to see a fascinating engine in action, and do take the offered tour as the guide really brought the place alive with his knowledge of the history and the science behind it all. Do also take time to enjoy the views as whilst gazing out over the sea we spotted a pair of choughs which really made my day.

Thoroughly enjoyed the tour which really brought it to life. Wonderful views. Fascinating history. Really enjoyed seeing the steam engine in action. Glad we had our windproof jackets on.
