We own Hillside Cottage just down the road from the Kings Arms. We've started coming here regularly since it changed ownership a couple of years ago. The food is really nice pub grub, with a bit of imagination and freshly cooked. The beer is kept really well, there's an AMAZING selection of 130+ craft gins that you'll never work your way through during a week or two's stay, and the landlord and his staff are super-friendly. Every Tuesday evening from about 9pm there's a really great folk jamming session with about a dozen locals and their guitars, fiddles, harmonicas etc (and the landlord puts on free sausage & chips baskets for everyone in the pub) - really nice atmosphere. You'll feel like a local in no time!
