Have eaten here many times over the years but sadly our last visit was a disappointment. I appreciate costs have risen but the portions were smaller and not as good quality as before. I feel that they have tried to keep prices low ( credit to them ) but I would rather pay more for what was in previous years better portions and standards..

Ate here twice during a recent week in Cornwall and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Nut Wellington was absolutely lovely and we both thoroughly enjoyed the steak and ale pie. The veg was exceptional - especially the white cabbage braised in white wine. Staff very friendly and service was prompt and efficient. Highly recommended

Very popular and excellent food. No bookings taken, just turn up and hope. The hosts are very friendly and we didn't have to wait too long. Dog Friendly.
