Morecambe Bay is a sweeping coastline which stretches for miles in either direction. There are lots of facilities in Morecambe and a long promenade with fabulous views over the estuary towards the Lakeland fells. This beach is made up of sand and shingle and popular in summer months. Care should be taken with fast moving tides and there is no lifeguard cover. Dog restrictions apply during summer months however they are allowed on the promenade on a lead.
