Gwithian Towans

Miles and miles of the flattest, golden sand make Gwithian popular amongst kitebuggyers and horse riders. Dramatic cliffs and windswept sand dunes give this beach real wilderness appeal.

Gwithian Towans

Fantastic beach for all the family. We walked for miles and then enjoyed great food at the Sunset Surf cafe.

Seal Watching!

A cove just a liitle walk beyond the far North End of this beach (Godrevy) often harbours a large colony of seals which can be fun to watch. Follow the coast path North past the lighthouse.

Exposed

Gwithian is a nice clean beach with lifeguards to make you feel safe whilst swimming because the currents and waves can be strong. If you are looking for a more sheltered beach I would suggest Godrevy. There is plenty of parking available although it can prove expensive if you are not a National Trust member.
